customized omelets really good view stylish feel

I found the breakfast to be AMAZING!!! I could order omelets customized to my liking. Views of the river were really good from the higher floors. The room had a stylish, older feel, more like a manor THAN modern.

The pool was a little COOL.

river view handy location

my room was a story bridge suite. the river view greeted me each morning, so peaceful. the location was quite handy to the gardens, a lovely place.

the breakfast buffet lacked a bit of freshness, i feel.

comfy bed helpful staff really good location

the location was really good, and the view really delivered. i found the bed quite comfy. the staff seemed helpful, especially at the front desk.

i noticed a small stain on the carpet in a corner of the room. it was hardly noticeable, but there.

i had a beautiful room, and it featured nice amenities. there was a phone in the bathroom. a television. i felt it a good touch, but the shower felt somewhat small though with powerful pressure.

inconsistent water temperature tired pool

I was pretty annoyed about a few things. the hot water was inconsistent. It took ages for it to warm up in the shower (it shouldn't happen at this price). the pool area was also a letdown. it looked tired and some areas needed a serious scrub. Definitely not the relaxing vibe i was hoping for.

convenient location river views gym access parking issue phone setting no compensation

the hotel's proximity to the cbd was so convenient , and the botanical gardens right next door were a bonus. my room provided amazing views of the river and story bridge , a wonderful sight to wake up to. the gym , pool , and sauna were great to have available.

the parking situation was a bit frustrating , i paid for it but the public car park was great. the phone in my room was set to 'do not disturb' , this made ordering room service difficult. it was disappointing to not receive anything complimentary for the trouble.

acceptable stay but issues present

expensive dinner cheap wine

the location was acceptable, close to various places.

the new year's eve dinner was expensive. it was terrible. the main course had fatty meat on top of fish, i could not eat it. drinks were included, but the wine was cheap and the champagne had a screw top.
